Cardio- Here are some cardio activities for you to do with your family or on your own; SH1FT-HIIT FOR KIDS: 20 MIN.
Go Noodle- Disco, Cookie Boogie, Frozen
This week - try " Have a Blast family fun workout"-
We can add some tag games to play outside now! Do you remember skunk tag, frozen tag, stork tag or balance tag?
Can you skip around your house in less than thirty seconds? Can you hop three times on one foot then three times on the other from your outside door to the end of your yard? I hope you don't have a big yard!! Can you jump 5 times of each, 2 to 2, 2 to 1 foot, 1 foot to 2? Play horse tag if you have a few people. Tagger chases other horses running and tries to pull out their tail. Horses use a piece of cloth in the back of your pants as a tail. If horse loses their tail go to the corral and gallop around the corral three times and then replace tail and play on. Mark out a corral about the size of the "papa bear circle" in the gym.
Can you run outside and time yourself to stay running for two minutes?
This week we are working on footwork and agility. You used ladders in the gym. Can you make an agility ladder with masking tape or hockey stick sides and tape runs of the ladder? Can you jump through each square two feet to two feet, two feet to next square one foot, hopping on one foot throughout, running with high knees? How fast can you do it without making a mistake? Agility ladders on sidewalks with chalk.
Here are some fantastic ideas to improve on your motor skills! They are fun. They are not just for kindergarten! You will have to find some materials at home to substitute! I wish I could do them with you here!! Please try them! 20 simple Ideas.

Dances- Do Si Do, Zumba Kids - I like to Move It, Hokey Pokey
Try basic partner dance step- step to side and touch beside with other foot, repeat other side. Add a partner and mirror each other going to the same side with step touches.
Add any partner moves you know or can create to make a routine.
This week try "Shake it off zumba kids junior", then "Dance Monkey" Zumba kids.
Maybe you know it already but if not learn the "chicken dance".
How did you do? Ready for another dance to learn? Try the Bunny Hop. You need a few people for this dance and hold each other around the waist in a line.

Rope skipping Rope skipping is excellent exercise and is fun! Once you know the basics you can do many tricks! Do you remember the first three tricks?(First size your rope making sure it comes up to your armpits.)
1) Stretch your arms out in front and then pull them out to the side "Tadaa!!
2) After "tadaa" bring the rope over your head arms out wide and say "See it" when you look up and see it over your head.
3) After the rope comes over your head lift your toes and catch the rope and do a toe catch. Now try all three tricks! DON'T JUMP in these first three steps!!!
Do tadaa, see it and NOW do one jump. The rope has to come over your head first then you jump!! Were you able to do one jump? Keep your body straight like a robot and head up. After one jump keep turning the rope with your arms and try to do two jumps or even more!
Strength- Every day do alphabet pushups, 10 mountain climbers and plank hold for 20 seconds
Add this ; Jungle Animal strength builders- STRONGEST JUNGLE ANIMAL
Turtle- Do 5 star jumps, 5 stride jumps, 5 shoulder touches, 5 curl ups, run around house do three tuck jumps. Repeat three more times.
Let's get stronger now and see if you can work at the monkey level; 10 star jumps, 10 stride jumps, 10 shoulder touches, 10 curl-ups, run around your house four times.
Are you up for the challenge of the tiger level? 15 star jumps, 15 stride jumps, 15 shoulder touches, 15 curl ups and runaround your house 3 times.
This week give a sibling a piggy back ride across your yard. See if they will hold your legs for a wheelbarrel walk with you walking on your hands.
Can you get in plank on your elbows and go up up arms one at a time to stand on your hands in plank down down with your arms back to elbows? How many times can you do it? How many situps can you do in a row?
Can you try doing 20 pushups on a wall standing up? Can you get in push up position then walk your feet all around keeping arms only rotating in a circle like you are a human clock? Can you sit on the floor bending your knees and keep your feet off the floor with hands in the air? For how long? This is for your tummy muscles.
Flexibility - Sit in straddle on floor and try to put head down on floor in between your legs. Try to touch your toes when standing with your legs crossed!
