Day 1- Scrabble fitness,
Day 2 - Fortnite hip hop fitness,
Day 3 - Connect 4, Connect 4 page 2
Day 4 - Tabata Ultimate.
Day 5 - Elementary dice. Try these as a family!!
Cardio- March 23-27th How many times can you run around your house in two minutes?
How many burpees can you do in one minute?
How long can you hold a proper plank hold?
April 6- 9th- Try SH1FT-HIIT FOR KIDS: 20 MIN. with family and Sonic , or Full Speed.
April 13-17th -This week go for Tarzan level fitness- 25 star jumps, 25 stride jumps, 25 shoulder touches, 20 curl ups, run around house. Repeat three times.
April 20-24th Work on kids bop video for fitness.
April 27- May 1- Here's a great cardio fun workout!! Can you keep up to this? Footloose! Go Noodle.
May 4-8 Please try a distance run this week with a family member. Can you keep jogging for five minutes without stopping?
May 11-15 Here's a fun way to get a cardio workout- Zumba fitness la Bamba! Can you keep up??
May 19-22 You'll love the Avenger workouts! I do! Try it out!
JUNE!! I dare you to work on the Boks Fitness Calendar! It's awesome! There are exercises for you to do to move your way around the world as well as learning about places around the world. Rope Skipping - I'm assuming you are all able to do basic skipping. There are two basic steps in skipping, single bound which is fast skipping with one jump between rope turns, and double bound which is slower skipping with a big jump and a small jump between rope turns. Make sure you can do both and then we can learn tricks!
I wanted to make a video of myself showing you the skipping tricks but this website can't do that so I have chosen a video that will teach you over ten tricks with your skipping rope. How many can you do? Keep practicing!! Skipping tricks! Make sure you can do double bound so we can also learn long rope skipping.
When starting skipping in a long rope, skipper should turn sideways and face one of the turners. Turners or (spinners) should bring the rope to touch the skippers foot and say "ready" then say "and" when the rope is pulled away from their foot. Skippers jumps when they say "and!" Jump double bound usually in a long rope. (That's a big jump and a little jump before the rope turns again.) Try it! Remember to check out the video of Mr. Hanke skipping in the long rope doing the teddy bear verse!!
Strength- Create your own Tabata workouts with five exercises each exercise done for 45 seconds with 15 second rest between each exercise. Possibilities are plank, scissor jumps, squat jumps, push ups, crunches, burpees, v-sit etc.
This week try ball tap pushups. Put a ball between hands and alternate touching it with left then right hand. Now try with elbows. Also try standing Ab workout and Fireheart for a leg workout!

May 4-8th- Try going across your yard doing power hops, hopping as high as possible and running lunges to strengthen legs for running. Hold plank for one minute or thirty seconds with one foot up in the air.bou
May 11-15- Your workouts will involve fast footwork this week! Can you create an agility ladder inside or outside? It usually has at least ten squares. You could use hockey sticks or broomsticks on the side and masking tape to make the rungs of the ladder or make it all in tape! Here are some footwork combinations to try. Check below. Can you create your own?
Flexibility- Stretch in sitting and standing straddle and pike positions holding head down to knees or floor for 10 seconds, back bends and rocking chair, splits each way

Try some yoga this week with Em and Flow. Emma in the video was an HMK student!
Work on leg stretches, hamstring stretch with one heel down and that leg straight lean over and feel a stretch in the back of your leg. Repeat other side. Quad stretch hold ankle with leg bent behind. feel stretch in quad muscle. Repeat other side.
Can you do front splits, side splits, push up to a backbend and walk upside down?
This is a cool activity that will make you agile! Over under around and through relay!Round up two people or more!
