Day 5 - Elementary dice. Try these as a family!!
Cardio- On your own or with family try Sonic the Hedgehog and or SH1FT- HIIT FOR KIDS: 20 MIN.

This week try the Fitness Blender kids Workout.
Get outside and ride your bike for 15 minutes if possible.
Try sprinting running your fastest for 10 seconds and see how far you can run!
Hey Cubs, can you make an agility ladder using brooms or hockey sticks for the sides and masking tape for the ladder rungs? Can you try these footwork combinations? You can also use sidewalk chalk to make the ladder outside!
Dances - Review how to partner dance from Grade one stepping side to side with a
partner. Add mirror walking forward and back, (one person steps back with one foot and the partner steps forward into the space where their partner's foot left. Continue together going both directions walking. Try African Dance basics, Zumba Kids
For a challenge try Top 3 Footwork Dance Moves!
This week try to learn the Heel and toe polka! Then have some fun with the Jump Dance Elementary PE dance.
Add some Zumba moves this week! Try Zumba Clap Stomp Jump! Also Zumbazoka. Also try the Bunny hop dance with your family.
Your family will love the limbo dance. Here is the instructions and a video of a adult woman limbo dancer going under a very low bar!!

Rope skipping - Rope skipping is excellent exercise and is fun! Once you know the basics you can do many tricks! Do you remember the first three tricks? (First size your rope making sure it comes up to your armpits.)
1) Stretch your arms out in front and then pull them out to the side " tadaa!!
2) After "tadaa" bring the rope over your head arms out wide and say "see it " when you look up and see it over your head.
3) After the rope comes over your head lift your toes and catch the rope and do a toe catch. Now try all three tricks! DON'T JUMP in these first three steps!!!
If you have mastered this try to follow tadaa, see it and do one jump, then two jumps if you are ready.

Strength- Create your own Tabata workout doing each exercise for 30 seconds with 10 second rest. Example exercises- mountain climbers, squats, running on the spot, jumping jacks, plank hold.

Work on Jungle Fitness tiger level ; 15 star jumps, 15 stride jumps, 15 shoulder touches, 15 curl ups, run around your house two times! Repeat.
Try the elephant level next ! 20 of each!
Can you do an elbow plank for thirty seconds then a full plank on your hands for thirty more seconds? Can you sit in a tuck and put your legs straight and tucked like you are rowing a boat for the count of ten? Don't touch your feet on the floor!
Try to do 5 -10 pushups and 10 crunches this week!
Flexibility- Stretch your legs in sitting straddle position, pike position, and stretch your back doing rocking chair on your stomach. Add this stretching routine super simple stretches by a child.
Yoga poses will be great for stretching and getting the brain ready! Try these!!
Can you do splits forwards or sideways and push up to a backbend?
